Diagnosis and treatment of sinonasal cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer
The 13th symposium on head and neck cancer in the NKI-AvL is focused on on less common cancers: sinonasal cancer and nasopharyngeal cancer.
Both cancer types are characterized by an atypical symptomatology with negative effects on timely diagnosis and treatment.
Adequate diagnosis and treatment of these cancers is strongly dependent on a multidisciplinary approach with active participation of various medical specialties.
Who should attend?
The symposium is of importance for specialists working in the field of otolaryngology, maxillofacial surgery, plastic surgery, neurosurgery and skull base surgery as well as for fellows and residents in training.
